Maybe his posted setup will be the fastest the vaga will be able to move, and thus was valid enough to use as an example of the new "extreme speed vaga"?

Which is what his setup is. Add 2 inertial stabs for flavor, but those would affect agility only, which is useless for EFT warrioring.
Maybe this is why so many people are freaking out over the changes, not many people seem to understand them

Yes, polycarbs are now worse than t2 nanos.
Also, polycarbs and nanofibers no longer reduce the mass of your ship, they increase speed and agility.
